Johannes Klein, PhD candidate

Johannes’ work investigates  the rheological effects of polydisperse size distributions of particle-bearing flows with special emphasis on the impact of variable crystal size distributions on magma flow characteristics.  He employs a range of experimental approaches in addition to carefully measuring CSDs in natural rocks and synthetic analogs.
