Sebastian Mueller, PhD

Sebastian Mueller’s work concerns mechanisms of flow and deformation of multiphase magma in addition to the permeability characteristics and degassing behaviour of vapour saturated magmas.  He therefore performs measurements on natural materials, develops laboratory experiments on magma rheology and conducts field research in Japan and the Aeolian Islands, Italy.
